Blackburn Cathedral wishes to appoint an outstanding musician to lead the Music Department and to play a leading role in the mission and ministry of the cathedral.  It is anticipated that the position of Director of Music will become vacant from 1st January 2020 but there is a possibility of an Autumn start by negotiation.

This is an exciting opportunity at a strategic moment in the life of one of the nation’s youngest cathedrals and will offer the successful applicant an opportunity to influence the future of cathedral music and outreach across Lancashire.

Closing date for applications: 11th March 2019
Interviews: 3rd & 4th April 2019
