Concerts

Our popular lunchtime concert series is a wonderful opportunity to experience music at Blackburn Cathedral.

Blackburn Cathedral is renowned for its commitment to showcasing a variety of musical offerings and our midweek concerts take place on most Wednesday lunchtimes during school term.

Organ concerts are given on the our incredible 1969 / 2002  Walker / Wood organ and we also welcome a variety of instrumentalists and singers.

Each week we present a different organist and repertoire of music and we proudly welcome organists from all over the world to perform.

All of our Wednesday lunchtime organ concerts are free to attend with a retiring collection.
