Organ Concerts
Our popular lunchtime concert series is a wonderful opportunity to experience live music at Blackburn Cathedral.
Blackburn Cathedral is renowned for its commitment to showcasing a variety of musical offerings and our midweek concerts take place on most Wednesday lunchtimes during school term.
Organ concerts are given on the incredible 1969 / 2002 Walker / Wood organ and we also welcome a variety of instrumentalists and singers.
Each week we present a different organist and repertoire of music and we proudly welcome organists from all over the world to perform.
There is no charge to attend, although we rely on the generosity of guests who donate to help with our costs. We suggest a £5 donation and are grateful for any support that you can give.
