Lent Talks at Blackburn Cathedral – The Temple Lectures

This year’s William Temple Lectures at Blackburn Cathedral have the overarching title of ‘Transforming Communities’ – reflecting the theme of Vision 2026.

Bishop Philip North, Bishop of Burnley, says: “An impressive and diverse line-up of speakers will be delivering the Temple Lectures at the Cathedral this year during Lent, focussing on ‘Transforming Communities’. This is to be a really engaging series which will face up to the hard realities of making a difference in our communities in the name of Christ. There will be plenty to challenge and to encourage.”

Today was a momentous day. The first people received their jabs at the mass vaccination centre @bbcathedral 👏

Here, our leader @MohammedKhanCBE talks how pleased he is the centre is open + he urges everyone to get vaccinated when the NHS calls @BwDCCG
