Churches from across the Diocese will bring parish life into the Cathedral in the form of stunning floral displays as this unique exhibition combines creativity with community.
This event is presented by The Friends of Blackburn Cathedral, an independent charity who raise funds to support projects that enhance the fabric and facilities of the Cathedral.
About Parishes in Bloom
Parishes from across the Diocese of Blackburn are invited to showcase both their floral creations and life in their parish.
Exhibitors will display their floral artistry through the theme of this exhibition which is 'Parishes in Bloom'.
There are many ways in which each parish can be represented and by bringing parish life into the Cathedral, it is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the centenary of both the creation of the Diocese of Blackburn and Blackburn Cathedral.
