At Blackburn Cathedral we have a thriving and diverse music programme and aim to provide the highest standard of music for daily worship.
Music at Blackburn Cathedral is rooted in a conviction that musical excellence and spiritual vitality are inseparable. We encourage our choristers to find their own distinctive voices and to grow together in community as people and as musicians.
As well as the work of our Cathedral Choirs and the role that music plays in daily worship, we also deliver a programme of spectacular musical performances throughout the year which are complemented by our weekly Wednesday concert series.
Whether you or your children are keen to join one of our choirs, or looking to enjoy a concert or hoping to share your musical gifts, we look forward to welcoming you.
