The Sixteen - one of the world’s most renowned choral ensembles - return to Blackburn Cathedral!

The Sixteen – one of the world’s most renowned choral ensembles – led by Harry Christophers, return to Blackburn Cathedral for what promises to be an another memorable concert.

The Sixteen’s 2026 Choral Pilgrimage focuses on music by two masters of the Spanish Renaissance, Sebastian de Vivanco and Cristobel de Morales. Alongside a selection of their beautiful works, they will also present a new commission by​​ Kerensa Briggs, and revisit one of James MacMillan’s most evocative works, Nothing in Vain.

Expect a performance delivered with precision, power and passion and hallmarked by expressive intensity and compelling collective artistry.
