All are warmly welcome to join us for Evening Prayer with a farewell for The Venerable Mark Ireland, the Archdeacon of Blackburn.

This beautiful service, with congregational hymns and readings, will see us give thanks to God for Mark’s ministry and Mark will preach for the last time in the Diocese at this special farewell service.

The Venerable Mark Ireland, the current Archdeacon of Blackburn, has held the position since February 2016, and has had special responsibility for the strategic delivery of the ‘Making Disciples’ arm of the Diocesan Vision 2026: Healthy Churches Transforming Communities.
