As part of our centenary celebrations, the whole Bible will be read aloud, cover to cover, non-stop over three days and nights.
From noon on Sunday 4th October until 5pm on Wednesday 7th October the whole Bible will be read aloud, cover to cover, Genesis to Revelation, in a continuous relay of readers over three days and nights.
The reading is part of our centenary celebrations and it will greatly enhance the Tyndale 500 Bible Exhibition taking place from September to November.
We will hear hundreds of voices from across the diocese each read a 15 minute passage as part of this special non-stop Bible reading and everyone is welcome to signup and take part or to come along during normal Cathedral opening hours to listen.
Get Involved
The reading is divided into 300 fifteen-minute slots, and we want them filled by voices from every corner of the diocese: anyone can choose a convenient time slot or their favourite passage, sign up and take part.
