Bishop Philip will preside at the Diocese Chrism eucharist, a service for all ministers at which holy oils will be blessed.
The Chrism Eucharist takes its name from Chrismation (anointing) and Bishop Philip, the Bishop of Blackburn, will bless three oils for baptism, confirmation, and healing.
The Bishop will gather clergy from around the Diocese to renew the vows made at their ordinations, remembering the ministry to which they are called.
