The annual Blackburn Cathedral garden party at Whalley Abbey will take place from 2.30pm until 4.30pm on Wednesday 9th July.
You are warmly invited to Blackburn Cathedral’s third annual Afternoon Tea Party at Whalley Abbey – a relaxed and uplifting afternoon of music, conversation and worship in the beautiful historic setting of the Abbey.
The programme for the afternoon includes:
- A warm welcome from Anna Walker
- A 15-minute organ feature from Raymond Smith, followed by background music during tea
- Afternoon tea served around 3pm
- Time to chat and catch up or explore the grounds, for those who wish
- A short act of worship in the chapel at approximately 4pm
We hope you’ll join us for this special occasion of friendship, reflection and summer refreshment.
