You are warmly invited to a special evening at Blackburn Cathedral to witness the unveiling of new vestments designed and woven by the acclaimed British textile artist, Margo Selby.
Commissioned for the Cathedral’s centenary, and funded by the Friends of Blackburn Cathedral, the vestments will be unveiled in the presence of the designer. The evening will feature an atmospheric reveal, celebrating craft, faith and beauty in the Cathedral setting.
The launch also marks the opening of ‘Fabric of Faith’ - a special exhibition showcasing historical pieces from the Cathedral archives, uncovering how faith is woven into the fabric of everyday life.
This special event takes place on Thursday 26th March. Doors open at 6.30pm, please be seated by 6.45pm.
