During our centenary year, we're paying tribute to all the wonderful volunteers across the Cathedral and the diocese.
During our centenary year the Cathedral and diocese are joining together to pay tribute to all of our wonderful volunteers.
Taking place during Volunteers Week 2026, we’re hosting a special service of celebration and thanksgiving for the work of volunteers across the county, and of course this includes all of our wonderful Cathedral volunteers.
This is our opportunity to show our appreciation to the huge number of volunteers who contribute so much to the life of the church.
So, whether you cover the welcome desk for a couple of hours a month or climb the tower to ring the bells each week, we hope you will be able to attend.
The service will be followed by refreshments and the chance to meet up with fellow volunteers from across the diocese.
