Visiting choirs
Visiting choirs are welcome to sing on various occasions throughout the year, either on Saturdays or Sundays.
We are grateful for the help of visiting choirs who support choral services when the Blackburn Cathedral Choir is not in residence.
You can be assured of a warm welcome from the Cathedral team and our congregation and singing at Blackburn Cathedral is rewarding, particularly as there is our incredible organ to accompany the choir and a wonderful acoustic for choral music.
Choirs must be able to sing psalms, responses, settings of the canticles and anthems at Evensong, and music for the Communion if singing at 10.30 Eucharist on Sunday.
